These photographs are of models produced as a special order for a customer in the USA. He asked us to use the pictures in a number of sources including Blandford and Osprey publications as our painting guide, and to achieve an "in the field" effect.
The slight sheen on the models is as a result of flash photography and the eggshell varnish used on the models. We now use Cryla Matt Cotte as a final layer, and this creates a dead matt effect.
The models used are Front Rank and Foundry.
